"Get ready for the coolest electrics! This is the first all-Duesenberg lefty ever. Duesenberg made lefties in the past with Bigsby tailpieces. It just did not look right. Everything else on the guitar was Duesenberg-made except that tailpiece. It was just wrong, so they discontinued all lefty production until the tailpiece could be designed and built to Dieter's satisfaction. Years go by. And now this beauty. Thanks for bringing it on the plane from Germany to the 2008 NAMM just for me Dieter. The first all Duesenberg lefty ever. I have more like this and other models coming soon. Keep checking back! Mike Campbell played his Signature Starplayer TV at the Superbowl halftime show. For those who don't know, Mike Campbell is the Heartbreakers' lead guitarist." -- Jerry Welch |
