"I was surprised that I liked this guitar. I've heard so much about the on again, off again quality of Gibson guitars over the years that I was prepared for a so so sounding guitar. It is Mahogany however, probably my favorite tonewood. Good balance, bright where it counts, warm where it needs to be, nice projection, and I love the Cherry Sunburst and MOP inlays. A short scale and electronics make for an easy playing, versatile guitar. Gibson just went up a notch in my book. Less than 1/2 price on one of the most recognizable guitars on earth." — Jerry Welch | |
