"This is the Heritage 23rd Anniversary model. The second of only two leftys ever made. This celebrates the anniversary of Heritage's famous split from Gibson. Gibson left Kalamazoo after building guitars there for over 30 years. A group of employees did not want to make the move to Nashville, and they are still in Kalamazoo making the guitars they had become famous for making. The original 330's, 335's, etc., were made at this factory in the 50's. Some of those same guys are still making them. Those original craftsmen will be retiring soon (one this summer), so this guitar is a tribute to them and their place in Rock&Roll history. Thanks, guys. Job well done." — Jerry Welch Call (941) 504-2634 to "special order" this sold left-handed guitar. | |
