"This is the most versatile guitar that has ever been in the shop. Humbuckers with coil split, built in piezo, and 13 pin connection for synth. I have a Roland VGA-7 that was built for a guitar like this. I can do drop D tunings without touching the guitar. I can make it a 12 string with a turn of a knob. Very Cool. Gene Baker has a very loud and loyal following for his beautifully made guitars. He had stints at Gibson Custom Shop and Fender Custom Shop before launching Baker Guitars. He lost the company to bankruptcy and Ed Roman bought the remains of the company at auction. Roman continues to make Baker Guitars as Asian made bodies.
